We went up to Priest River, ID to get a roto-tiller from a guy who was selling it on Craig's List. He was such a pleasant old man who had a very beautiful piece if property. He insisted we come in for juice and a visit. He lives alone in a very well kept home full of animals he's taken that are mounted on his walls. It was like walking into Cabelas. Way cool! We enjoyed a very nice visit with a new friend.
My friend Marielle and and her daughter Monet came to see us and stay the night. It was their spring break and they love us enough to drive out of their way to stop and say hello. Or maybe they just love the dogs enough to want to come see them. :) But we had a nice visit. Marielle was a champ to babysit while Kody and went on a date to see Captain America: The Winter Soldier. It was way good! And we enjoyed playing at the farm, lunch at McDonald's, and fresh apples!
I got 40 pounds of 93/7 ground beef from Zaycon Foods and split it with a friend. I canned 10 pounds and it turned out great! I froze the other 10.
This little monkey bucks is such a cutie!
We roto-tilled the 3 quarter acre garden spots with the tractor. I did one by myself. It was fun driving the tractor. That's something I could get used to!
My little tractor buddy!
Last month Shayna, Chris, Trace and Honey made there way up to see us! We were so glad they made the trek to come. Not very convenient at all for them, so we're super thankful! We had a great time for the few days they were here. Other then the fact that we didn't have much water and it sort of felt like we were camping, everyone had a blast! We enjoyed a couple rounds of "Chopped," late night talks about lots of things, working at the farm, and lots of laughs! We really love them!
