Oh Happy Day!

Several weeks ago we talked about selling our Yukon. We LOVE that car, but we are really doing our best to get out of debt, and since we have a truck that is the same size as the Yukon and we all fit in it, we decided to sell the Yukon. So about a week in a half ago we posted it on Craig's List (what a surprise!!) We had about 5 people call on it and show some interest, and one of those guys was the buyer. So we said farewell to our Favorite car as of yet, on Tuesday.

But OH HAPPY DAY no more car payments!!! We are now saving over $500 a month from not having the Yukon (between the payment, gas, insurance, etc.) We would like to get a Yukon XL some day, but plan on paying cash for it! And that same day we paid off a credit card! Isn't it great to lower debt?? Such a good feeling! We have been able to pay off 3 major debts over the past couple of weeks! Yes we still do have some other debts to pay and we are working hard to get those done too!

Last November I won a bike from Gold's Gym. It's a pretty sweet bike as you can see!


Well, we decided to post it on Craig's List as well and sell it. And what a surprise it is selling! To a guy whose coming down from Spokane to get it. It still has the original price tag on it for $680.00 But if you buy it new now it goes for about $550.00. But since I won it and didn't have to pay a thing for it we are selling it for $350! So once again we scored big time through Craig's List!

Blessing seem to have been flowing lately. I'm very grateful for happiness and hard work, especially from my Lovey. He's the one that keeps is in tact!
