We had a nice, relaxing Thanksgivingg. It was just our little family. Actually our family is not that little. In size or number. Yet, I always think and refer to them as my little family. Perhaps it's because so many of the kids are still little. Anyway, we enjoyed it with just us. Everyone helped make something. It was all done from scratch, except the jello and stuffing. The turkey was amazingly good and juicy! Kody said it was the best one he's ever had! The rolls, salad, potatoes, pies, deviled eggs, and everything were delish!
It's nice having the kids big enough to help load and unload wood. It's never too early to put a kid to work!
I love that the children doing things together all on their own. They get out supplies to make crafts, set up game stations and play together, or do each other's hair playing salon/barber. It's nice to know they're all good friends.
This happened after Thanksgiving. I believe in celebrating one holiday at a time. :)
Aaaand this has been going on... If you know us and what our "hobby" seems to be, you'll know what's been going on at our house. Hence, the reason there's no Christmas card from us this year :) More details on this to follow soon.
