We've had a couple of good snow storms so far this month. It's been really fun for the kids. For over a week they played outside for at least an hour, most the time more, building snow piles, sledding down the little hill we have in our field, and throwing snowballs. Even Kosette would stay out there and play. The roads have stayed pretty clear. The snow's not overwhelming, so that's good. I'm looking out the window right now and see it melting off the roof. And we're heading out this afternoon to do some tubing/sledding. Winter CAN be fun!! :)
My pregnancy is going well. Only 8 more weeks of cookin' for this baby. Well, actually, I'm planning on about 10 more weeks :) We don't have a name picked out yet. Still working on that. The kids are all getting excited though. It'll be so fun to have another little bundle around. I love babies. They're my favorite! :)
Here's some pictures and videos from the last couple of weeks.
Winter can be beautiful too!
A couple of days after Christmas we went ice skating with several other families from the ward. The host family has several disabled children and the rent out the rink every year for a couple of hours and invite other families. It was fun to skate with only people we knew. It was a fun time!
We tried our hand at a pyramid :) Some people took it a little better than others :)
This is what Superman REALLY looks like! :) Kodman is a total stud!
Grammy sent a big box of boy cloths that we had left down in Arizona. Koestte went to town one day and totally dressed herself. I'm guessing this is what our lil' guy will look like in a couple of years :)
Kosette loves Sis. Collins! I caught this cute video of her :)
We saved a ton of seeds from squash from the gardens. Sixteen pounds worth of seeds. Kody had the brilliant idea to stick them in the washing machine to clean them (rather than spending hours doing it by hand). It worked really well! Then they had to dry our for about a week. So we had these boxes and cookie sheets full of seeds laying around the house all over the place. But everything is back to normal now and we have enough seeds to last about 30 years :)
Here are the seeds before the went through the washer (still full of lots of pulp)
Here are the seeds after going through the washer
Kayda is in a tap dance class and they recently had a little recital. Nothing fancy, but it was cute. I wasn't in a very good spot to video it, but I guess it's better than nothing. She's the one in the blue shirt on the far end. She had her friend Ashlynn also performed the dance for our ward talent show.
Our ward had a talent show last night. It was fun. Lots of different kinds of acts, a very good variety. Probably one of the best ward talent shows we've been to. Anyway, I did two stories. "Tikki-Tikki-Tembo" and "Prindella and the Cince." They're sort of tongue twister stories, but cute :)
