So now that we have our own little farm, we wanted to start that own tradition for ourselves.
Kody worked hard (and quicky) to build a star and a manager, and he put together the outline program.
We invited a couple of families from our ward to help participate. This being our first year doing it and having it be "the pilot," we kept it small and intiment.
It started snowing Friday morning and came down all day. But everyone was troopers and we waded through the 3 or so inches that fell.
Here's Kody hanging the star in the tree
The cast and crew
Our friends the Mansfield's who played Mary and Joseph, with their 3 month bold baby.
Kamille played the angel
And here's the star in the tree, and the bonfire on the ground.
We enjoyed hot chocolate and muffins afterwards. It was a short and sweet program, but it went smoothly for having 15 kids, 10 of which were under the age of 10. We're glad we did it and look forward to it next year!
Merry Christmas!!
