We decided one afternoon to leave the next morning and drive to California and camp for 3 days. Our purpose in doing that was for reasons I will hopefully be able to explain at a later date. However, we had a great time! We camped in the mountains at Malibu State Park. It was beautiful and pretty comfortable. We were only a 15 minute drive down the canyon road to the beach, so it was a win-win all around.
