I also wish the lyrics, "summer time and the livin' is easy...." were also true. But alas, with farming and 6 kiddos, it's not really so easy. But, it is fun. Most of the time. :)
Kayda had an in-house meet type style performance and the end of her 4 day gymnastic camp. There was lots of working out involved, along with lots of play and fun with all the girls. She was gone for the whole 4 days and had a great time.
With Kody finishing Aunt Summer's pond, lots of time has been spent swimming. The cool water feels sooooo good in the hot sun! Everyone enjoys it!
Kody and I enjoyed a date to the batting cages. It felt so good to have a bat in my hands. I only missed 2 pitches out of about 60. Then he beat me in air hockey. But just barley though.
It was also time for hay. Kody and I did it by ourselves, with the kids helping to climb up on the bales. Thankfully we didn't have near as many bales to load as we did in Washington, so doing it by ourselves was a piece of cake. Well.....sort of. :)
We had a lovely wedding in the barn. Very countrified. These two cuties enjoyed a dance.
Pretty picture of one of the hay fields and the barn.
Jefferson is a tinker. He is totally his fathers son. He loves to "fix" things.
Roc and Kosette were fixing their bikes down at the shop.
We were out weeding the 3 acre field when it started pouring rain. It literally dumped on us. All the dirt of course turned to mud, which turned into a big ol' mud fight! We had a good time. Just missing Kayda because she was at gym.
