We had a lovely Christmas this year. It was quite nice. After getting everyone up and dressed we started everything about 8am. We enjoyed opening our stockings and grabbing a few bites of sweets! We then made a yummy breakfast consisting of crapes with blueberry filling, waffels, eggs, and juice. It was splendid! Then we headed back over to the christmas tree and started the presents. That was fun and the children really enjoyed it. We were able to wrap everything up at about noon, just in time to get ready to go to church at 1pm. We had just Sacrament and enjoyed lots of beautiful music and some talks from the bishopric. We got back home about 2:30pm and enjoyed our wonderful afternoon and evening playing with toys, watching new movies, listening to some great sabbath christmas music on Pandora and enjoying eachother. We had a nice dinner with homemade lasagna, garlic bread, salad and yummy butternut squash. We sang Happy Birthday to Jesus, read Christmas stories and talked about that first Christmas night. It really was a lovely day!
Here are some pictures of our great day!

Kayda Babes

Kayda opening her leotards. She was pretty excited!

Kody got all three X-Men

My man made me two baseball bats. One is made out of Maple and the other is made out of Bamboo. They are AMAZING. The pictures don't even do them justice. They have more sentimental value more than anything else....reminding me of the good ol' days when I played Little League. He also made a custom box for them to go in. He's so talented! I was thrilled!
