Memorial Day Weekend

For the long weekend on memorial day, we headed over to Portland for a visit and to hit the beach. Of course it was a little to chilly to actually swim, but we had fun basking in the sun on the beach, and getting our feet wet! We stayed in down town Portland at the Marriott, and had a great view. We were able to go to a Carnival, the beach, and the Portland Zoo. That was really fun. We were able to have a very nice relaxing, family outing weekend. Here are some pictures of that.

Keeping Kayda in the sand

Kayda laid in the sand for most of the day. She just kept running her fingers through it.

One of the many times Kayda biffed it in the sand. She fell in the water after we had only been there about 10 minutes. So she was in wet clothes most of the time. But it didn't bother her at all, she's a trooper!

Jameson is the best baby ever! Seriously, I know people say that a lot, but he really is. He smiles more than any person I have ever met (child or adult). He is so happy, so content, and the biggest little love bug. He loves to lay on my shoulder, and snuggle. I love him so much, and he is so perfect!
Lot so people were flying kites because it was pretty windy. These are some of the neat ones we saw.
